On this page, you can integrate your Valet Seller account with platforms like Shopify or Amazon and configure various settings.
For Amazon, at the moment we only integrate for Amazon FBA inventory levels. If you sell on your own Amazon, and use FBA, you can integrate by clicking the “Add Integration” > “Add Amazon Integration” button and following the steps:
Once you have integrated Amazon, you will see that your Amazon FBA inventory levels appear in your products page. In your settings, if you fulfill orders using MCF, you can also turn this question on so that orders from channels other than Amazon get sent to MCF.
For the Shopify sync, you can integrate by clicking the “Add Integration” > “Add Shopify Integration” button and following the steps below:
- Log in to your Shopify Admin
- Go to “Apps” and scroll down and click “Develop apps for your store”
- Click “Allow custom app development”
- Read the terms, then click “Allow custom app development” again
- Click “Create an app”
- Name the app Valet Seller and click “Create app”
- Click “Configuration”
- Next to Admin API Integration, click “Configure”
- Scroll down and assign the below permissions (write and read)
- Assigned Fulfillment Orders
- Customers
- Draft Orders
- Fulfillment Services
- Inventory
- Merchant Managed Fulfillment Orders
- Order Editing
- Orders
- Products
- Click “Save”
- Click “API credentials”
- Click “Install app”
- Click “Install”
- Navigate to https://app.valetseller.com/integrations and click “+ Add Integration”
- Go back to Shopify, copy Shopify URL, paste it into Valet Seller
- Go Back to Shopify, copy your API Key, paste it into Valet Seller
- Go Back to Shopify, click “Reveal token once”
- Copy your Admin API access token, paste it into Valet Seller
- Click “Connect”
- Navigate to the Products Page in Valet Seller and import products by clicking “Import Products” > “Import From Shopify Integration”

Once you’ve connected your Shopify, you will see a few settings you can turn on or off:
Please see below an explanation of each of these settings:
- Sync orders to this integration: When toggled on, this will sync orders from the Valet Seller app to your Shopify back end. This is recommend for dropshipping merchants.
- Sync orders from this integration: When toggled on, this will sync orders from your Shopify to the Valet Seller app. This is recommend for merchants using our warehouse who want to fulfill all their website orders from the Valet Seller warehouse as well.
- Sync product prices from this integration: When toggled on, this will sync prices from your Shopify site to the Valet Seller app. This is recommend for merchants who want all Valet Seller prices to always be matched with their Shopify prices.
- Sync product details from this integration: When toggled on, this will sync the product title, description, and bullet points from your Shopify site to the Valet Seller app. This is recommend for merchants who want all Valet Seller product descriptions to always be matched with their Shopify product descriptions.
- Sync inventory from this integration: When toggled on, this will sync inventory from your Shopify site to the Valet Seller app. This is recommend for merchants who want all Valet Seller inventory levels to always be matched with their Shopify prices. This can only be turned on if you will be fulfilling orders yourself. You can select a specific warehouse to sync inventory from – by default, our system will aggregate the inventory levels in all warehouses you use.
- Sync inventory to this integration: When toggled on, this will sync inventory from the Valet Seller app to your Shopify. This is recommend for merchants using our warehouse for their Valet Seller orders and their website orders so that website inventory levels stay accurate to what we have available in the warehouse. You can select a specific warehouse to sync inventory to – by default, our system will pick the warehouse most commonly used.
There are a few rules to be aware of for the settings above:
- If sync orders TO is on, sync orders FROM cannot be on
- If sync orders FROM is on, sync orders TO cannot be on
- If sync inventory TO is on, sync inventory FROM cannot be on
- If sync inventory FROM is on, sync inventory TO cannot be on
- If sync inventory TO is on, sync orders TO cannot be on (in the case that sync inventory to is on, we recommend turning on sync orders from)
- If sync inventory FROM is on, sync orders FROM cannot be on (in the case that sync inventory from is on, we recommend turning on sync orders TO)
